Typescripts of an interview conducted by Barbara Pannoni for the Joint Oral History Program of the Brigham Young University Archives and the BYU Alumni Association Emeritus Club. The collection consists of three drafts of the interview. Bergera talks about his association with the "Seventh East Press" which was an off-campus student newspaper at Brigham Young University in the early 1980s.

Plans for the David O. McKay building began in 1952 after an evaluation by the Brigham Young University College of Education concluded that the existing building for the College of Education were no longer meeting the growing needs of the program.
